  : Location/neighborhood was perfect. Well-located to everything, yet quiet. The balcony was magical, as was the restaurant downstairs.

  : We spent 1 night in Antica Locanda Montin and didn’t have any issues during our stay. The price for a night was reasonable for Venice, the location was good, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean, with air conditioning that worked properly (this is important, because there are indeed plenty of mosquitoes, so you can’t really open the windows after sunset if you don’t want them to get in). There is a restaurant located on the ground floor of the building, with a nice green garden. Our room's windows opened to this garden.We were allowed to leave our suitcases at the hotel after checking out, so we were able to walk around a bit in the morning without heavy baggage before we left Venice.
  : This wasn’t a problem for us, but it is worth mentioning that the room’s windows were opening to a restaurant garden where people were eating and chatting until late – it might be disturbing to someone who is bothered by street noise.

  : It is an old, ancient, famous locanda, in an old building of Venice. Hence, you could imagine what you can expect: it is not an ultramodern building. But it has a great charm, a great appeal. The restaurant is particularly good. It had as guests Jimmy Carter, Ezra Pound,...

  : Great location. Quiet neighborhood, just 10 min walk to St Marco Square and other main attractions.Historical, traditional-style locanda. Nice, clean and cozy room with view on a beautiful venetian garden.Rich breakfast.Polite, friendly and helpful staff.Recommended!

  : I loved the location on a clean and quiet canal, with a surprising cluster of gardens at the back. The room itself, overlooking that green refuge, was even too large for my needs, even if its furniture consisted mostly of beds. The manager may have not exactly been a gusher, but he delivered much needed assistance, and good naturedness, where it really counted.
  : You're doing just fine, even if the website description could perhaps do a better job accounting for the overall basic standards, which themselves suited me perfectly well.
