  : Private bathroom, at least in the room I was staying in.
  : The address on booking is not right and is actually very far from the actual guesthouse! I tried calling the number provided but no response, I ended up checking the number of the house and finally found it after about an hour walking with my suitcases, which isn’t a pleasant thing to do if you know Venice.

  : The location of the Guest House is very good, in the heart of Venice, close to Campo Santa Margherita, with lots of bars and food restaurants. The staff was nice and the room was clean and completely ok for 1 night stay.
  : The AC wasn't working properly, which was really necessary during these days of summer heat and the shower was quite small.

  : The location is great if you want to use public transport - vaporetta. The host was a nice lady that welcomed us. We got enough towels, there is a mini fridge in the room but its a bit noisi at night
  : We got an attick room. The ceiling is very low, the flor is very uneven and covered with carpeting which I very dislike due to higenic reasons. The same goes with the roof that I kept banging my head at. Its covered with wood planks. I used to live in an old house and we had the same stuff and I can say that you don't want to know what kind of stuff can crawl out of there. You can't stand in the shower because of the low ceiling. Would not recommend for longer family stays. Its OK for a single night stay but the price is a bit high for what you get.

Disappointing

  : The location was good in regards to Venice (not speaking about the accomodations/guesthouse), a lot of things are a walk away. Student area and cheap cafes + pizza joints!
  : If you pay attention to previous reviews, it will be no surprise that we had the same experience/grievances. No staff present in the guest house (either checking in or checking out); the only "staff" was house keeping (with whom we settled our bill with). Upon checking in we had to call the "I assume" owner in order to get the pin for the door (the door is locked and you need a pin upon arrival to get inside; afterwards you can enter the building/room with a key). Which is not a problem but no warning was given prior to our check in date (an email would be great with the pin etc.). Also the streets are known for flooding (of course not the fault of the guesthouse) in the morning, it would have been great to have had warning or at least (since its a common occurance) they could have provided plastic rain boots or had them in stock. Just a simple ramp from the door to the street etc. We experienced flooding everyday ( we had to take off our shoes and walk through the water to avoid getting wet feet/shoes. The room itself (the top room) was basically an attic with a low ceiling and a real tiny bathroom. Now when I say small, I mean small! The tub was really small (fit for a small child/toddler & akin to bathing a child in a sink, no joke), you also can't stand because of the low ceiling. Mold was all over the shower and it might be a good idea to replace the carpet (since there's no cleaning of rooms besides making the bed, it appears as though the carpet has never been cleaned or vacumed; pretty disgusting). Normally we are no so picky with accomodations and really open based on price/location but this was a real disappointment.

  : It is perfect to visit Dorsoduro and the south side of Canal Grande. The room was extremely spacious and very clean.
  : The ceiling were very low, be careful if you are tall like I am.

  : We asked for an earlier check in,/to deposite our luggage somewhere as we arrived earlier. That worked fine, neverthelesse the cleaning personal did not lock the room (needs to be locked from the outside).
  : - room was unclean and smelly- shower was dirty- sink was clogged after the first day- not even a toilet paper holder- open outlet with open wires in the bathroom- garbage bags at the entrance- paper thin walls, unsafe doors that do not lock properly- several outlets not working- wallpaper/Drywall coming of the wall...

  : The location is simple a godsend! I honestly think this Dorsoduro area is the best and most convenient spot to stay in whole Venice!
  : I can’t find anything I didn’t like about visiting Venice including Butterfly guest house we stayed in!
