  : Our flight arrived at 11 at night and we called to tell the hotel that we were coming in late and no one answered the phone. So we took the bus and the ferry and had to walk the rest of the way to the hotel, two hours from the airport, and we finally arrived after 15 hour travel day and the hotel was closed, no answer of the buzzer, and didnt answer the phone. It was very late and starting to rain, basically homeless in Venice because of them. I had to wander the streets looking for any hotel that might still be open so we wouldnt have to sleep in the ferry waiting terminal. Luckily I found one at Hotel Belle Arti, a very nice receptionist kindly let us stay at a discounted rate after he heard about our fiasco.

  : The location of this property is wonderful, right on the Grand Canal. If you want to stay in an old palazzo for a realistic price this is the place. But you have to realise that the property is old and the furnishings are old as well.
  : When you flushed the toilet in our accommodation it gurgled up the sink! Not hygienic!

  : Be aware that this place has a lot of steps, No lift as they an elevator, and nobody to help, only to give the keysPlease if you are are 55 yrs and up DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
