  : I will start with the good points: The place is a very authentic inn in a great location.Sadly the positives end here. What follows is a 6-week customer service loop of hell which was caused by the hotel in the first place.
  : The reasons I would not ever come here again:- Aircondition did not work and despite me reaching out, the problem was not fixed. I ended up not being able to sleep at all during the first night. The saving grace is that they moved me to another room on the second day- The staff on-site did not speak English. The older lady taking care of the property wasn't friendly and most of the time made me feel like I am an annoyance- The worst part is that they canceled my reservation after I checked out. I made my booking through Booking.com which allows me to gather loyalty points. I paid the full price by credit card, but of course, as the booking was canceled I am not able to receive the aforementioned bonuses. I have reached out to the property via WhatsApp, email, and Booking.com but am getting ignored completely. This is very much in line with their overall approach.To summarize, the place was nice, but there is zero commitment to customer satisfaction.EDIT: The property finally responded - How nice. Let me be very clear: You canceled the reservation on your end which caused the loss of points on my side with AirFrance as you skipped the commission that was due to Booking.com. (I personally would consider this a scam, but that's between you and Booking.com) This also prevented me to write a review in the first place, which thankfully Booking.com managed to rectify. My attempts to sort this out directly with your hotel were fully ignored. I have reached out to your property by WhatsApp, Booking.com, and email and have been disregarded for 6 weeks, so yes, I can confirm indeed that you hardly support your customers. The 1/10 rating is more than justified. I have used this website for my bookings for over 10 years with more than 50 different stays across 5 continents and never had such terrible aftercare from a place.

  : The whole hotel was stunning. Absolutely stunning. The lounge area had a lovely seat looking onto the canal. Our room was MASSIVE. Such a great stay & great customer service. Brilliant location and right next to the famous bookshop! Would definitely recommend!
  : My only complaint was the bed wasn't a double it was two beds pushed together and not very comfortable - however, it would not stop me going back because the whole stay and hotel was so great.

  : I liked how quirky it was less obvious than most hotels and it was next to the canal which was great for getting to the hotel and not having to move luggage around all the time.
  : If you want a hotel with continuous service, this was not the one. When they were there, they were amazing, but a manned reception desk you don't have. Also, they don't serve breakfast you can sort of ask and you get a croissant and a coffee. It was sort of loose and help yourself but that wasn't made clear to us, so we didn't. But to be honest there are so many places nearby it is no big deal and there are large fridges in you room to buy and store what you need for the mornings.

  : In addition to it being very beautiful and charming, what I appreciated about this hotel was the calm atmosphere. After a day of navigating around Venice and the crowds, it was so nice to return to quiet Locanda Cà Del Console.
