  : The bathrooms were clean, there was a hairdryer and a washing machine. One of the ladies at the desk was very sociable and explained to us all the details and gave us good informations. The location was great, right behind San Marco Piazza.
  : The sheets were stained, there was no blanket in one bedroom and in the other bedroom the blanket was unwashed and without sheet. The couch and the rug in the kitchen were full of staines. All the apartment didn't smell very well.

  : The corridor of the building smells awful (fishy). The apartment was spacious but not as nice as the pictures make it seem. The apartment was hot, a/c did not work well. The cleanliness was a low standard and the beds were the worst. We may as well have been sleeping on a box spring. We also had tons of mosquitoes coming in from the bathrooms. I notified the point of contact who said she would send someone for the a/c but didn’t acknowledge the mosquitoe problem. They also wanted to charge us an extra 40 euro to store our bags when checking out. This is usually offered as a courtesy and I thought that it was part of the stay, I could be wrong. Anyway, can’t recommend this place.

  : The location is literally under a minute walk to St Marks Square and not far at all from Rialto. Good space for a family, we were 2 adults, 2 teens and had plenty of bedroom space.Plenty of towels, mini toiletries and a small washing up starter pack, all very appreciated. Extra pillows and blankets. The ladies managing this apartment were really good at communicating all the check in information etc
  : We stayed in Byron apartment. The apartment needs some basic maintenance and attention. The ensuite shower door doesn't close so leaks everytime. Both showers are not cleaned properly near the base and the dirt is really off-putting. The windows for the apartment all open onto a very busy main street which leads to St Marks Square, so its incredibly noisy until late and then shop owners opening metal shutters early morning. At night we closed all the shutters and windows which barely provided any noise insulation so we didn't sleep well at all. Completely understand that there are compromises to staying in a great location but I feel this should be pointed out in the description. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery but pretty basic with a tiny sink and 2 burner hob and is very tight on space, especially when using the sofa bed. We ate out every night as we just couldn't be bothered with the hassle of cooking in such an inconvenient space. The main beds are large but very firm. We'd say if you're going to use the apartment as a place to lay your head and are a deep sleeper then go ahead and book, otherwise very sadly we weren't impressed, it's tired and badly needs some maintenance.Someone else mentioned sometimes the communal corridor smells, yes it does but it's Venice, the whole place frequently pongs especially in warm weather. This didn't bother us as we've been before and were expecting 'smells'.
