  : First of all the location... in a quiet, though vivid, neighbohood of Venice (at the western part of Dorsoduro) next to the Campo Santa Margherita and Cambo S. Barnaba - for me the best area in Venice, Close to everything on foot... but far enough form the packed with toutrists, streets near the Rialto and the Piazza San Marco. It is the perfect place to understand the real Venice, or what has left from it due to the massive tourism. Plus... even without great views is next to a picturesque canal. The room, even small, was cosy, with lots of natural light. The bathroon renovated. I did not meet the owners, who were prompt to answer all my questions via email.
  : The bed was a little bit small for me!

  : The room was spacious, warm and clean. The location was perfect and the host left a small gift as it was my wife's birthday.. It made the whole stay feel more relaxing and personal. The location is perfect to get around Venice via vaperetto
