  : Good, quiet location, off the beaten track but still only a pleasant 10 minute walk from the lagoon. Clean rooms & comfy beds. Typical Venetian decor and it was lovely opening the windows each morning to a view of the canal and the local dog walkers. A taste of how it would be to live in Venice. Erica was friendly and helpful and provided all the necessary information before our stay. Would recommend.
  : The only small thing missing is a kettle in the room. Would have been nice, but not a huge issue!

  : The location is excellent, got water bus from the airport to Ospedale, walked 15mins. We arrived after 5pm, got instructions how to self check in, very easy. The room is lovely, the furniture is not modern but this is the decor as advertised, we liked it very much. Walking distance to all tourist points and we found the location a big advetage. We had an electric kettle in our room (asked before arrival) but there's a fantastic coffee shop just round the corner (Bar al Canton) where you can have a very nice breakfast. The reception lady very nice and helpful.
  : The beds were not too comfy, the double was actually two singles and too firm for my liking but I understand it's a personal choice.We were bitten by mosquitos even though we were provided with an insect lamp, I imagined its common in Venice with canals all around, we could have taken some protection if we knew, not the owners fault though. There is a music club next door, open on Friday nights only, there was a lot of people on the street and lots of noise, we joined for the party, €3 pp, but suppose it may not be good news for everyone, they close at 1.30am promptly, gone very quiet after that.

  : location is just prefect. easy check in. 10 mins walk from the ferry station (can take ferry from airport). We got a canal view room which is lovely. Almost self check in and check out. Easy in and out

  : I’ve stayed here before and I returned despite complications with electricity because the price was reasonable and the location was good.
  : If you scroll down to read my first review you’d see I was overall happy with the stay. This time, not so much. Something went missing from my room and the staff excused this with “That’s impossible, we have cameras”. It was a €60 item and I had used it in the morning, we went out and when we came back it was gone. I asked if anybody else had access to the room and again, all they kept saying was “It’s impossible, we have cameras”. Pretty sure if someone were to steal something they wouldn’t wave it around in areas there might be cameras. I was angry and frustrated about the whole situation of something going missing in a place you should feel safe to store your personal belongings, but now I’m furious about the way they handled the situation as well. Very unprofessional.

  : The elevator was a big plus since every where in Venice there are steps to climb. The accommodation is old and has perhaps seen better days but the room was spacious and super clean, bed and pillows extremely comfortable and the area very quiet. I slept very well at nights. There is a common area on each floor with refrigerator and dining table. Supermarket, shops and restaurants are all within walking distance.
  : On entering the hotel, one is hit by the smell of something like cleaning detergent? It was a little overpowering. If one doesn't have a good sense of orientation it is sometimes difficult to find one's way back to the hotel, had to use Google maps always.
